A Raid Shadow Legends promo code is a code or link that grants free Champions and resources to a new account, and the current set of working links includes a starter pack with Rector Drath, Fayne, Krok'mar and Seeker, available through the Rector Drath starter link. Codes are tied to account age and region, so a link that fails on a veteran account can still work on a fresh one. The breakdown below covers what each pack contains, how redemption rules work, and what to expect from the Halloween code.

How Raid Shadow Legends promo codes actually work

A promo code in Raid is redeemed either on the official promo page or by opening a special registration link before the account is created, and the reward lands in the inbox or the Champion vault. The critical limit: only one new-player promo code can be applied per account, and only within the first 72 hours after registering through a promo link. That single constraint explains most of the frustration players report — a code is not broken, it is simply already used or expired for that account. Codes are also region-locked in some cases and are frequently disabled once a campaign ends, so a link shared months ago may lead to a page that no longer issues a reward.

The five starter packs in the current lineup

The strongest pack on offer combines four Champions that cover revival, poison damage and turn-meter control, which is why it sits at the top of the list. Each pack is a fixed bundle rather than a random drop, so you know exactly what your roster looks like on day one.

  1. Rector Drath + Fayne + Krok'mar + Seeker — revival, poison damage and turn-meter control; the most complete all-round start.
  2. Tayrel + Aina + Krok'mar + Galapo — debuffs, direct damage and team support.
  3. Ultimate Galek + Zargala + Corvis + Mausoleum Mage — area damage, Decrease Defense, poison and support.
  4. Wythir the Crowned + Fahrakin the Fat + Galapo + Vergis — legendary healing, cleansing, damage and survivability.
  5. Custom five-Champion pack — Tholin Foulbeard, Stag Knight, Seeker, Alure and Tuhanarak, assembled through a promo code generator.

Smaller two-Champion packs also exist for players who want a narrower start: Tayrel with Aina, Ultimate Galek with Zargala, Anax with Lady Annabelle, Rector Drath with Fayne, Chonoru with Lady Quilen, Lightsworn with Anax, Jotun with Lady Quilen, and a mystery pack of two random Champions.

Free Whisper, Ultimate Deathknight and other legendary rewards

Whisper, Ultimate Deathknight, Brakus the Shifter and Teodor the Savant are the headline Champions covered alongside the starter links, together with resource bundles for developing a roster. Whisper is a Spirit affinity epic built around multi-hit damage and a strong campaign presence, while Ultimate Deathknight is a defensive staple for early Arena and dungeon teams. The practical advice is to pair these rewards with a starter pack that already covers healing or debuffing, so the free Champion is not left without a team around it. Resources matter as much as the Champions themselves: potions, silver and energy determine how fast a fresh account can actually use what it was given.

Overlooked codes and lesser-known new-player Champions

Kallia, Esme the Dancer, Razelvarg and Apothecary appear in lesser-publicised starter codes that most players never see in the big lists. Apothecary in particular is a rare-rarity healer who stays useful well into the mid-game because of his speed buff and turn-meter boost, and Razelvarg brings a strong damage profile for early Arena. These codes are worth checking before committing your single redemption, because the choice is permanent for that account. If you want a specific combination rather than a preset bundle, the generator route lets you pick five Champions — for example Tholin Foulbeard, Stag Knight, Seeker, Alure and Tuhanarak — and produces a matching promo link.

Why codes fail and what to check first

A code that returns an error is usually blocked by account age, region or prior redemption, not by a broken link. Work through these checks in order:

  • Confirm the account is less than 72 hours old and was created through the promo link itself, not before it.
  • Verify that no other new-player code has already been redeemed on that account.
  • Open the link in a fresh browser session or a different device; cached redirects sometimes serve an expired landing page.
  • Check the region — some campaigns are limited to specific storefronts or countries.
  • Remember that veteran accounts generally cannot claim new-player packs at all, which is a design decision by the developer rather than a fault in the code.

A second recurring question is whether to spend Ancient Shards one at a time or in batches of ten. Shard pulls are independent events, so batching does not improve the odds of a legendary; saving shards for a x2 event or a guaranteed-Champion summon is the more efficient use of them.

The Halloween code and what comes next

A special Halloween promo code intended for all players is announced for the next video on the channel, which makes subscribing with notifications on the practical move if you want it early. Codes released for seasonal events tend to have short windows, so redeeming on the day of publication is safer than waiting. Until then, the starter links above remain the most reliable way to begin an account with a strong roster, and the single-redemption rule means the decision deserves a few minutes of thought rather than a click. GameGeeksTricks [GGT] [2GT] produced the video breakdown these links come from, including the Halloween teaser. If you are starting fresh, begin with the top starter pack link and build from there.

Key takeaways

  • Only one new-player promo code can be redeemed per account, within 72 hours of registering through a promo link.
  • The featured starter link grants Rector Drath, Fayne, Krok'mar and Seeker in one pack.
  • A custom five-champion starter pack (Tholin Foulbeard, Stag Knight, Seeker, Alure, Tuhanarak) is built through a promo code generator.
  • Whisper, Ultimate Deathknight, Brakus the Shifter and Teodor the Savant are the headline rewards covered in the breakdown.
  • A Halloween promo code for all players is teased for the next GameGeeksTricks video.

Questions & answers

Can I use more than one Raid Shadow Legends promo code on the same account?

No. Only one new-player promo code can be redeemed per account, and only within 72 hours of registering through a promo link. Once a code is applied, the others are locked out for that account, so pick the pack whose Champions you actually want to build around.

Why do these promo codes say they are invalid or expired?

Most failures come from account age, region restrictions or a previous redemption rather than a dead link. A code that works for a brand-new account created through the link will usually fail on an older one, and campaign links are switched off once the promotion ends.

Do veteran players get promo codes for hard-to-obtain Champions?

New-player packs are designed for account creation and are not available to established rosters. Veterans usually get value from in-game events, x2 summon windows and guaranteed-Champion summons instead, which is why the all-player Halloween code is the notable exception.

Is it better to pull Ancient Shards one at a time or ten at once?

Each pull is an independent roll, so batching ten does not improve your odds of a legendary. Saving shards for a x2 event or a guaranteed-Champion summon gives a better return than spending them as soon as they arrive.
